INTRODUCTION

This page describes the Terms of Use ("Terms") under which you ("You") may use RecruitFront and the Services (defined below). These Terms include the FrontEdge Inc. Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”), which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

These Terms are a binding agreement between You and FrontEdge Inc. (“FrontEdge”) and FrontEdge Inc. Clients (“FrontEdge Client”). For the purpose of this Agreement, FrontEdge Clients include organizations who have licensed the RecruitFront component (“RecruitFront”) of the SchoolFront software platform (“SchoolFront”). FrontEdge Clients have a signed contractual agreement with FrontEdge governing their usage of RecruitFront, SchoolFront, and other FrontEdge tools and services (collectively “FrontEdge Tools and Services”), and typically manage their own personalized RecruitFront landing page and post jobs.

Certain FrontEdge Tools and Services allow Users to create individual profiles, which may include personal information (”Profiles”), and to make these Profiles, or aspects thereof, available to:

  • FrontEdge so that FrontEdge can render support; and

  • to FrontEdge Clients so that they can match profiles to employment opportunities and vet candidates; and

  • to Boards of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) so that they can render support on behalf of FrontEdge Clients licensed via BOCES.

By creating a Profile You agree to allow FrontEdge, FrontEdge Clients to access the information and content You add to your Profile.

These Terms are deemed accepted by You each time that You use or access any FrontEdge Tools and Services regardless of the method of access, including without limitation:

  • RecruitFront.com;

  • Support.RecruitFront.com;

  • App.RecruitFront.com;

  • X.recruitfront.com where “X” is a name defined by a FrontEdge Client;

  • SchoolFront.com;

  • App.schoolfront.com; and

  • Support.schoolfront.com.

If You do not accept these Terms, do not use RecruitFront or any other FrontEdge Tools and Services.

FrontEdge may revise these Terms by posting an updated version to this page. You should visit this page often to review the most current Terms.

Users who violate these Terms may have their access to and use of the FrontEdge Tools and Services suspended or terminated at FrontEdge’s discretion.

You must be at least 13 years-of-age, or the age-of-majority as that is defined in Your jurisdiction, to visit or use any FrontEdge Tools and Services in any manner without the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. If You are under 18 years-of-age, or the age of majority as that is defined in Your jurisdiction, You must use FrontEdge Tools and Services under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

Your use of the FrontEdge Tools and Services is also subject to any other contracts You may have with FrontEdge. In the case of any conflict between these Terms and any contract you have with FrontEdge, the terms of your contract will prevail.

USE OF FRONTEDGE TOOLS AND SERVICES

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of Your FrontEdge Tools and Services registration(s), account(s), Profile(s), and password(s), as applicable. You may not share Your password(s) or other account authentication information ever with any other party. You shall be held responsible for all uses of Your FrontEdge Tools and Services account(s) and password(s), whether or not authorized by You. You agree to notify FrontEdge of any unauthorized use of Your account, Profile, or passwords as soon as you become aware of unauthorized usage.

Any Profile and information You submit on or through FrontEdge Tools and Services must describe You, an individual person. Examples of inappropriate and prohibited Profiles include, but are not limited to, Profiles that purport to represent an animal, place, inanimate object, fictional character, or real individual that is not You.

RECRUITFRONT USAGE

RecruitFront, including without limitation

  • RecruitFront.com,

  • Support.RecruitFront.com,

  • App.RecruitFront.com, and

  • X.recruitfront.com where “X” is a name defined by a FrontEdge Client,

is a component of FrontEdge Tools and Services and may be used only by individuals seeking employment and/or career information, and by FrontEdge Clients whose usage of RecruitFront is governed by their contract/agreement with FrontEdge.

RESTRICTED ACTIVITIES

The term “post” as used herein means "information that You submit, publish, or otherwise display on/in a FrontEdge Tool or Service.

By using FrontEdge Tools and Services You agree to never:

  1. Transmit, post, distribute, store or destroy material in violation of any applicable law or regulation, including but not limited to laws or regulations governing the collection, processing, or transfer of personal information, or in breach of FrontEdge’s Privacy Policy.

  2. Take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on any FrontEdge infrastructure.

  3. Use any device to navigate or search any FrontEdge Tools and Services other than the tools made available by FrontEdge, generally available third-party web browsers, or other tools approved by FrontEdge.

  4. Violate or attempt to violate the security of any FrontEdge Tools and Services, including without limitation attempting to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of a system or network, or to breach security or authentication measures without proper authorization.

  5. Forge any TCP/IP packet header or any part of the header information in any e-mail or newsgroup posting.

  6. Reverse engineer or decompile any parts of any FrontEdge Tools and Services.

  7. Post any content or material that promotes or endorses false and/or misleading information or illegal activities, or endorses or provides instructional information about illegal activities or other activities prohibited by these Terms.

  8. Post any resume or Profile or apply for any job on behalf of another party.

  9. Defer any contact from an employer to any agent, agency, or other third-party.

  10. Share with a third party any login credentials to any FrontEdge Tools and Services.

  11. Access data not intended for You or logging into a server or account which You are not authorized to access.

  12. Post or submit to any FrontEdge Tools and Services any incomplete, false or inaccurate biographical information or information which is not Your own.

  13. Post content that contains restricted or password-only access pages, or hidden pages or images.

  14. Solicit passwords or personally identifiable information from other Users and/or FrontEdge Clients.

  15. Delete or alter any material posted by any other person or entity.

  16. Harass, incite harassment, or encourage harassment of any group, organization, or individual.

  17. Send unsolicited mail or email, make unsolicited phone calls, or send unsolicited faxes promoting and/or advertising products or services to any User and/or FrontEdge Customer, or contact any Users that have specifically requested not to be contacted by You.

  18. Attempt to interfere with service to any User, host or network, including, without limitation, via means of submitting a virus to any FrontEdge Tools and Services, overloading, "flooding", "spamming", "mailbombing" or "crashing".

  19. Promote, endorse, and/or make available an illegal or unauthorized copy of another person's copyrighted work.

  20. Use FrontEdge Tools and Services for any unlawful purpose or any illegal activity, or post or submit any content, resume, or job posting that is defamatory, libelous, implicitly or explicitly offensive, vulgar, obscene, threatening, abusive, hateful, racist, discriminatory, of a menacing character or likely to cause annoyance, inconvenience, embarrassment, anxiety or could cause harassment to any person or include any links to pornographic, indecent or sexually explicit material of any kind, as determined by FrontEdge’s discretion.

The following may not be done unless permission to do so is explicitly granted by FrontEdge and You agree to contact FrontEdge to request permission before you engage in any of the following activities:

  1. Using data mining, robots or other data-gathering/extraction methods.

  2. Framing or linking to any content posted/published on FrontEdge Tools and Services.

  3. Aggregating, copying or duplicating any content posted/published on FrontEdge Tools and Services.

Violations of these Terms and/or of system or network security may result in civil and/or criminal liability. FrontEdge will investigate occurrences which may involve such violations and may involve, and cooperate with, law enforcement authorities in prosecuting Users who are involved in such violations. 

USER CONTENT AND FRONTEDGE CLIENT CONTENT

You understand that all information, data, text, software, music, sound, photographs, graphics, video, advertisements, messages or other materials submitted, posted or displayed by You on or through a FrontEdge Tool or Service ("User Content") or by a FrontEdge Client (“Client Content”) is the sole responsibility of the person from which such Content originated.

Job Postings and the content found on pages accessed by the address “X.recruitfront.com” where “X” is a name defined by a FrontEdge Client are created and controlled by FrontEdge Clients.

FrontEdge claims no ownership or control over any User Content or Client Content. You or a third party licensor, as appropriate, retain all patent, trademark and copyright to any User Content or Client Content submitted, posted or displayed on or through FrontEdge Tools and Services and you are responsible for protecting those rights, as appropriate.

FrontEdge may review and remove any User Content or Client Content that, in its sole judgment, violates these Terms, violates applicable laws, rules or regulations, is abusive, disruptive, offensive or illegal, or violates the rights of, or harms or threatens the safety of, Users of any FrontEdge Tools and Services.

FrontEdge reserves the right to expel Users and prevent their further access to and further usage of the FrontEdge Tools and Services for violating the Terms or applicable laws, rules or regulations.

FrontEdge may take any action with respect to User Content or Client Content that it deems necessary or appropriate in its sole discretion if it believes that such Content could create liability for FrontEdge, damage FrontEdg’s public image, or cause FrontEdge to lose Users, Clients, or (in whole or in part) the services of its ISPs or other suppliers.

FrontEdge does not represent or guarantee the truthfulness, accuracy, or reliability of User Content or Client Content, derivative works from User Content or Client Content, or any other communications posted by Users or FrontEdge Clients nor does FrontEdge endorse any opinions expressed by Users or FrontEdge Clients.

You acknowledge that any reliance on material posted by other Users and/or FrontEdge Clients will be at Your own risk.

REPORTING ISSUES AND CONCERNS

If you identify User Content, Client Content, or User or FrontEdge Client activitiy related to FrontEdge Services that you believe violates these Terms or otherwise threatens You or FrontEdge in any way You agree to immediately notify FrontEdge of such issues and concerns. Upon notification FrontEdge may, at its sole discretion, investigate and address such concerns as FrontEdge deems appropriate or as legally required.
