RecruitFront Business Card FAQ

In addition to a branded and customized organization recruiting portal, SchoolFront provides our recruiting customers with complimentary branded and customized RecruitFront business cards to distribute to potential job applicants.

RecruitFront business cards are great for distributing from your Human Resources office or for handing out at recruiting events. The cards provide applicants with contact information for your organization's recruiting personnel and detailed information about accessing your organization's RecruitFront portal. On the back of the cards there is a scannable QR code linking to your organization's current Job Opportunities.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • Complimentary business cards are offered to SchoolFront recruiting customers only. If your district has purchased the SchoolFront recruiting module and you have not ordered your (max 300) recruiting business cards for the current contracted year, you may do so using this form: BUSINESS CARD ORDER FORM.

    After you submit the form, you will receive a mock-up of the business card to review and approve before the cards will be ordered and shipped to you.

  • 1 business card design per school district is included with your annual SchoolFront recruiting services.

    For this reason, we suggest the design be kept generic, with contact information for the Recruiting Office rather than for a specific person in the school district.

  • RecruitFront business cards are delivered in batches of 100. SchoolFront recruiting customers may order a maximum of 300 complimentary RecruitFront business cards per contracted year.

    If you would like to order more than 100 cards with your first order, please tell us how many you want in the extra notes section of the order form.

  • Complimentary recruiting business cards are generated using a standard template. Customization of the design includes the addition of a district logo, district colors, and district recruiting information. Further customization of the design is not included in the complimentary recruiting business card offer.

  • 1 business card design per school district is included with your annual SchoolFront recruiting services. While you may request that we put your name and personal work information on the business card design, we generally recommend that the design be more generic so that the cards can be distributed by anyone in the district.

  • RecruitFront is a new resource for school district positions in NY State and our customers (districts and BOCES) have expressed concern over the fact that the platform is unknown to candidates. As a result, some of our customers are paying for multiple job posting solutions to reach candidates.

    The district/RecruitFront combo logo is an attempt on our part to raise awareness of RecruitFront β€œin general” with candidates who may find it easier to remember to search for jobs on "RecruitFront.com" rather than memorizing the URLs for multiple specific district recruiting webpages.

  • We highly recommend that you include some means of contacting your recruiting office on your business cards for candidates who have questions about job postings or the application process.

    You can include an email address, a phone number, or both on your business cards.

    We recommend you use a generic contact information (like HR@schooldistrict.com rather than MarySmith@schooldistrict.com) so that the cards can be distributed, and inquiries can be handled, by more than 1 person in the district.

  • We pull your logo and colors from your main district website and/or your RecruitFront recruiting portal.

  • We pull your logo and colors from your main district website and/or your RecruitFront recruiting portal. If you do not want us to acquire your logo and colors in this manner, please make note of this in the extra notes section of the business card order form and we will contact you via email to get an alternative logo and/or color information.

  • (1) Confirm that you like the colors and the look of both your district logo and the RecruitFront logo.

    (2) Confirm that there are no typos or misspellings.

    (3) Confirm that the email address, physical address, office name, phone number, and URLs are all correct.

    (4) Confirm that you like the usage of capitalization (or lack of capitalization) in your URLs and email addresses.

    (5) Test the QR code.
